Stories for the fireside: true history and Irish legend, drawn as scroll-down comics. Pick a story below. Each chapter takes about five minutes.
Pictures drawn with AI. Stories researched from the sources named in each chapter and checked before release.
How these are made: the pictures are drawn by AI image models and the stories are written with AI from historical sources. Each story is checked by a second AI editor and by Will before it goes up. Every chapter ends with a "What's real" page saying what is documented, argued over, legend, reconstructed or made up, and a note of the AI tools used.
Colour or storyboard? Storyboard chapters are the black-and-white sketch edition: the whole story, ready to read. Colour comes later for the series readers back most.
Gentle pictures: some chapters show battles with blood. Where a chapter has a gentle version, a Gentle pictures button at the top of the chapter swaps in pictures with the blood and wounds taken out. This phone remembers your choice. The story and words stay the same.
Coins: everyone gets 3 coins a week. Open a series to give it a coin. Series that get coins get more chapters.
Reading in Mihon: install the Komga extension, open its settings, set Address to this site's address, leave username and password empty. The series appear under Browse, Komga. Use the filter to pick a shelf.
Coins, reactions and notes are kept on this phone only for now.
